Yellow Bird Project

Yellow Bird Project is a Montreal-based, non-profit initiative. Its goal is to collaborate with musicians in designing T-shirts. This t-shirts are then printed and sold on the project website. All the money collected goes to charity. Which charity? Each of the artists gets to choose their own, with three fundamental aims:

On November 8, 2007 the new the Fedora Linux "distro" has been released.

Numbered Fedora 8, it seems to have a lot of improvements and new features like Online Desktop, Codec Budy (to download the right codecs for audio and video players), Pulse Audio, improved network manager (specially for wifi networks), Compiz Fusion (3D desktop effects for linux), better Power Management and also better package management.

As a result of three months voting period, Packt Publishing announced that Drupal has won the Overall 2007 Open Source CMS Award. Drupal succeeds Joomla! as the overall winner and receives a cheque for $5,000.

Packt Publishing is specialized in Open Source publications and has two books about Drupal that are highly recommended.
