Recently, the new album from the United States folk-rock band, Indigo Girls has been released. It is called "Despite Our Differences" and you can listen to some of the sample songs at its web site.
Indigo Girls is a duet formed by Amy Ray and Emily Sailers. They come from Athens, Georgia, where other famous groups like R.E.M., Tracy Chapman, Suzanne Vega and B-52 were born. The group started in 1985 and published its first album in 1987.
This band has always manteined a remakable activism in defense of human rights, ecology, abolition of the capital punishment and the rights of homosexual people.
Despite it has more than 15 published albums, I would recomend you the one called "Retrospective".
